Shipping policy
I usually ship within 1- 2 business days of receiving your payment. If I am unable to ship within that time frame I will contact you. After shipping, First Class Packages should arrive within 5 to 7 days. Priority Packages should arrive within 2 to 5 days but as with First Class mail both have had delays. We will be watching your package and if it becomes stalled or misdirected we will notify USPS.
Shipping within the US is via USPS and reflects the cost of postage and packaging. All packages shipped include a tracking number and you will be emailed that number through our shipping service as soon as we ship the item. Hearts Desire Fiber is not liable for the loss of a package once tracking has confirmed that it has been delivered. In any case, please contact us if your package was not delivered and we will try to assist in finding it. Please contact me before placing a large order if you have any concerns about costs of shipping or would like to specify a method. Orders over $250 are shipped with signature confirmation. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Hearts Desire Fiber ships to the address you supplied on your order form. If the shipping address is incorrect or does not exist we will not be held liable for the loss or misdirection of the package. We will assist, within our ability, to try to find the package and have it returned to us. Any packages refused by the buyer, USPS finds unable to deliver or returned to Hearts Desire Fiber for any reason will be at the buyers expense. If the buyer still wants to receive the items after the package has been returned to the seller, the buyer will be required to pay the shipping costs to reship the package to the buyer. Once USPS delivery tracking scan shows the package has been delivered to your address, Hearts Desire Fiber will consider this package delivered and the order complete. You are responsible for the package once USPS tracking shows that the package has been delivered to the postal address on your order. The buyer is responsible for making sure that the package is in a safe and secure area. If you cannot locate the package after USPS scans the package as delivered you will need to immediately contact your local USPS branch with any queries, searches or problems you have regarding the delivery.
If you have the package forwarded to another address by USPS, Hearts Desire Fiber will consider the package to have been delivered and the order complete after it has reached your local post office.
If you use a Freight Forwarding service, Hearts Desire Fiber will consider the package delivered and the order complete once tracking shows it has reached the Forwarder.
Once USPS tracking shows the package has been delivered to a Parcel Locker, Hearts Desire Fiber will also consider this package delivered and the order complete.
Because of a change in USPS policies, as of August 28, 2016, any packages undelivered and returned to sender may be charged a return shipping fee.
