Refund policy

Thank you for considering Hearts Desire Fiber when purchasing your textile materials.  If you feel that there has been an error with your recent order please contact us so that we can assess the problem and address your concerns.  You can contact us at help@heartsdesirefiber.com or 585.381.0669.  If we are not currently available by phone, please leave a message and we will respond within 24 hours if not sooner.   If you are returning a purchase we can make that easier by sending you a paid USPS shipping label.  You are still responsible for shipping charges both to and from unless there has been an error.  If you prefer to send the purchase back via your own method you must employ a tracking number and insurance.  Any costs associated with the returned package, for example incorrect or insufficient postage, will be at the buyers expense. Any damage to the items related to inappropriate packaging will also be at the buyers expense.  I do not refund anything until the item is back in my hands.  Below are the terms for a return.

If, for any reason other than store error you want to return your purchase you must:

  • Contact us within 30 days from the delivery of your order that you are returning the item(s) and ship the item(s) back within the 30 day return window.  If at any time you have any questions or problems please contact us at help@heartsdesirefiber.com.
  • Nothing is refundable if it has been altered or damaged in any way.   That includes opening a commercially packaged item.
  • Shipping costs are not refundable.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If there is a problem with your return you will be contacted immediately.  We will refund via your original payment method within 48 hours but it may take up to 7 to 10 business days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.  If you feel that the refund has not been processed please don't hesitate to contact us. 

All Batik fabrics MAY have small spots of dye and remains of wax and more has been showing up during Covid. I do not consider this a reason for return since it is a result of how the fabric is created and I try to remove any small spots before shipment but they do sometimes slip through.
