Hasegawa Top Dyed Silk Tweed Noil Yarn, 50 Gram, Knitting, Crochet, Light Fingering, Japan, Buy 10+ Get 20% Off
This yarn was created from only the highest quality silk noil fiber with the addition of dyed neps. The raw fiber was first dyed and carded then during the spinning process the colored neps were added to create the perfect tweed effect. Visually, it has a wonderful textured quality and while being a single ply and classified as a fingerling weight, it is easily used for either hand knitting or weaving as a weft yarn. Put up is in a 50 gram skein. Beginning knitters may have the single strand yarn twist slightly if used as a single but this makes a wonderful excuse to use two or three strands. Add this yarn with another fine yarn of the same color or add another color or your own dyed fiber to make a spectacular individual creation. This should be considered when you are creating your next garment or accessory.
There are several skeins per color but make sure to purchase enough for your product so that you may not receive another dye lot when purchasing later.
This is the same yarn as the undyed silk noil yarn.
